Project 2025 is a plan devised by the conservative Heritage Foundation and several people who once worked in the Trump administration. If put into effect, it will roll back the rights of Americans and radically change the nature of the federal government. The president will become much more powerful.

• Environmental protections will be severly reduced.

• Reproductive rights will be severely restricted.

• Many government regulations that ensure the safety of food, medicines, transportation, water, air, etc. will be eliminated.

• Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security will be cut.

• It will take power away from regulatory agencies and consolidate it in the singular power of the president.

• Tens of thousands of federal workers will be fired and replaced by people loyal to the president.

• It will weaken the separation of church and state and give primacy to values established in the Bible.

• It will promote and facilitate the burning of fossil fuels and weaken efforts to prevent catastrophic clilmate change.

• It will allow prosecution of people who send contraceptives through the mail.

• It will remove legal protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation.

• It will allow the use of the military for law enforcement.

• It will reduce the corporate tax.

• I will abolish the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to prevent research and action on preventing climate change.
